MUSIC VIDEO
During the filming me and my group tried to capture many different shots of the artist when she was lip-synching the song. During the chorus we had the concept that our artist would be standing by a wall, which is a common convention of a music video as we saw through examples we had analysed.
Artist, Eliza Doolitte featured this idea during her video of 'Pack Up'

We chose this video in particular as the concept was similar to our own, as we have a variety of locations throughout the video but the chorus was to remain the centre of the video and to be featured in the same location throughout.
DIGIPACK
Me and my group found an image of young female artist, Diana Vickers which caught our attention and we felt it would fit with the idea we had for our own Album cover. The image we thought displayed a strong female image which is what we wanted to capture with jose vanders when it came to marketing- as we felt the music that Jose produces is easy-listening and not over produced music therefore it seems sensible to give our artist a raw organic feel to symbolise her music.

We did not copy Diana's image but instead used to basic idea and adapted it to fit what we wanted to emulate with our artist instead. Below is the image we finished with.

The idea we created for the back of our digipack is similiar to the idea that Eminem also used for the front cover of his debut album 'Recovery'. This again re-instates a strong figure and shows power, in which we wanted to show our artist with female empowerment. We will use this image, as on the right hand side where there is a clear space we can superimpose a tracklisting which will look professional. The image also links in with our music video, as the setting in which the photo was taken features the location that is shown alot throughout the video. This creates coherence and furthers the branding of Jose Vanders.
